Pattaya is easily reached by taxi, private transfer, or bus from Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK), often in as little as 1.5 hours. Hua Hin’s a scenic drive along the Gulf of Thailand — you can go by car, train, or private transfer, taking roughly 2.5–3 hours from Bangkok.

In Pattaya, songthaews (those colourful shared pickup trucks) are cheap, constant, and fun. Hua Hin’s all about tuk-tuks and taxis, equally convenient.
