Things you need to know when planning your trip

There's some cool new attractions
If it's been a while since your last visit, we've got some good news for you! There's some exciting new attractions, such as the Avengers Campus! The new land at Disney California Adventure Park gives guests the chance to live out their Superhero dreams. See Spider-Man swinging into action high a with gravity-defying, acrobatic feats, Iron Man is seen showcasing his newest armor, the Mark 80, which is a Disney Parks exclusive design, and Captain America will be taking some tours of duty throughout Avengers Campus, either on foot or on the Avengers deployment vehicle. Guests may even see some other heroes riding along, like Captain Marvel.

Reservations are required
Every guest aged three and older needs to have a valid ticket as well as a theme park reservation for the same day and the same park they plan to visit. This ensures you don’t show up and get disappointed if the park is at capacity. Make a reservation here
Some experiences may not be available
Make sure you have a back-up plan for things you’re interested in doing as some things may be limited in capacity and hence, limited in availability. Park admission and offerings can’t be guaranteed, so it’s best to be flexible with the parks, hotels, restaurants, and other experiences in case something is unavailable.
Vaccinate or test negative before you go
In the State of California, it is recommended that every guest of any Disneyland Resort property be fully vaccinated. If you are not vaccinated, you should have a negative COVID-19 test before you enter.
Masks are strongly recommended
When indoors, Disneyland recommends that every guest ages two and older wear a face covering, regardless of vaccination status. These can be disposable or reusable and must have at least two layers of breathable material that fully cover your nose and mouth while being secure under the chin. It should also fasten with ties or ear loops. All face coverings are encouraged in indoor settings, such as on the shuttle, but you do not have to wear them outdoors.
Check the latest updates before you visit
As Disneyland Resort manages attendance, there will be no Magic Morning or Extra Magic Hour offerings. Parades, nighttime spectaculars, and other attractions and experiences like meet-and-greets with the characters are planned for return sometime in 2022, so check to see if these things are open in time for your visit.

The FASTPASS and Disney MaxPass services are no more, but the new Disney Genie is a new, free planning tool available through the My Disney Experience and Disneyland apps which helps you make the most out of your visit.
